- Business details: operator information you provide when setting up your fleet, locations, and pricing.
- Booking and customer data: details of hires, bookings, customers, vehicles, and payments processed through the service.
- Technical data: log data, device identifiers, and similar information needed to operate and secure the platform.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Glovebox and the booking experience for customers.
- Send transactional and service-related emails (for example booking confirmations, reminders, and account notices).
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations, including tax and accounting requirements where applicable.
- Protect the security and integrity of our systems and users.
Who we share it with
We may share information with:
- Xero — for accounting and invoicing sync where you connect your account.
- Windcave — for processing payments and payment-related events.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — for hosting and file storage (e.g. documents and media).
- Other service providers we use to deliver email, SMS, or infrastructure, strictly as needed to run the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
Where data is stored
Our systems and data are hosted in Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2). By using Glovebox you acknowledge that your information may be processed and stored in Australia and handled in accordance with this policy.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you may request access to or correction of your personal information. You may request deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@getglovebox.co.nz. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
